Description of Events
Back to School Night
The HSA will have a booth with membership information, schedule of events, and event information. We will also have many school spirit items for sale.
Food Drive
Thanksgiving baskets will be distributed by the school during the holiday. A flyer will be sent home with suggested items for donation from each grade.
Santa’s Workshop
This is a three-day shopping event for our children, where they may purchase gifts for their family members and friends and share in the spirit of the holidays.
Pizza With Santa
A big holiday social event filled with games, crafts, carolers, pictures with Santa, snacks, popcorn, and, of course, pizza. This is a wonderful event for the entire family, a time when MMS students, parents, and staff come together to share in the holiday spirit.
Valentine’s Day Bingo
A Valentine event where the students get a treat, play Bingo, and win prizes.
Irish Treat
The children will receive a treat along with some educational Irish trivia during lunch.
Visit from the Easter Bunny
The children will receive treats and a visit from the Easter Bunny during their lunch.
Book Fair
The Book Fair will be open during the day and one evening for students to visit and purchase Scholastic Books.
Staff Appreciation Luncheon
The HSA shows our appreciation to the entire staff with a luncheon.
PreK/Kindergarten Registration
A “Welcome to Margaret Mace School” table will provide information on HSA activities and membership. Refreshments served. School Spirit items for sale.
Field Day
HSA provides refreshments during two days school sponsored outdoor fun.
